How recipients view payment status

Learn how a recipient can securely check the limited status of a payment without accessing the sender’s account.

Open the status link

When a recipient notification is sent, the recipient receives a secure link to a limited payment-status page. The recipient does not need access to the sender’s Quotable Payments account.

What the recipient can see

The page shows a limited payment summary and the current status. It does not give the recipient access to the sender’s account, recipient directory, Saved Bank Accounts, reference files, or other payment records.

Keep the link secure

  • Do not forward the status link to anyone who does not need it.

  • Open the link only from the expected payment notification.

  • Do not enter bank passwords or verification codes on the status page.

  • Contact the sender directly if the payment details appear incorrect.

If the link does not work

Ask the sender to confirm the payment status or request a new recipient status notification. For security, an old or replaced link may no longer be valid.

What a status does not prove

A notification that a payment was recorded or is processing does not mean the recipient has received the funds. The recipient should rely on the current status and their own bank account records.
